We teach our Youth Squad at an NYS EMT level. Most Youth Squad members go on to join the ranks of the regular membership.
Drill at Bay Shore Marina which was a multi-agency drill and evacuation from Fire Island.
Bay Shore Brightwaters Rescue Ambulance is a non-profit, all volunteer organization whose purpose is to serve the emergency medical needs of the 65,000 residents of Bay Shore, Brightwaters, and West Bay Shore.
Working in conjunction with the Bay Shore Fire Department, Suffolk County Police Department, New York State Troopers, Suffolk County Park Police, United States Coast Guard, MTA Police and others, BSBRA responded to over 3,200 alarms last year. On call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, our members respond to emergency 911 calls ranging from motor vehicle accidents to major illnesses as well as standbys for fires, football games, marathons, etc.
